Local iconic favorites, The Shades bring back classic tunes. The Shades were popular in the Midwest, playing at local ballrooms and high school dances starting in the 60’s and 70’s.

Webster City Market Nights Sponsored by American Sanitation June 20th

Date and Time:

  • June 20th, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Vendors, Activities, Outdoor Dining, and Attractions now fill 3 blocks in downtown Webster City, 500-700 blocks of Second Street.

Theme:

  • Classic Car Night- Bring down your Classic Car and join uslocated on the 700 block of Second Street. Please enter on the corner of Prospect & Second.
  • Vote for your favorite Classic Car at the American Legion Auxiliary tent.
  • Trophies to be given out sponsored by Mertz Engineering and Karl Chevrolet to be awarded at 7:20 pm
  • One-in-a-Melon Classic Car Night Award
  • MOJO Productions will be in the 700 Block playing Classic Hits and Top 40 hits
  • All vehicles will receive a registration and car number upon arrival to place in their front windshield for judging
  • Classic cars of all decade’s welcome!

Entertainment and Activities:

  • Legacy Learning Boone River Valley & Webster City Community Theatre team up to promote Beauty & the Beast JR debuting this weekend Friday, June 21st-23rd. The Jane Young House will also be open for tours of the historic home, Saturday, June 22nd.

  • Rosehill Farms: Jam and Jelly flavors this summer Lemon, Strawberry Lemonade, Strawberry Cracked Black Pepper, Hot Margarita, Seedless Raspberry and Seedless Black Raspberry.

  • Calling all Webster City Residents-Community Choice Classic Car Voting –Head to the Auxiliary tent located near the American Legion and cast your vote for the Community Choice Classic Car Trophy- Trophy winners will be announced at 7:20 by MOJO Productions
  • Outdoor Dining and Seating: Provided by local eateries and drinkeries- Chicago Style, Leons, Second Street Emporium, La Perla Jarocha Restaurant, Wildcat Distilling Co.
  • Bags Tournament: Contact the American Tap at (515) 832-9803 located at 526 Second Street to register or walk-in registration is accepted by 5PM the night of the tournament.
