The main purpose of an ultrasonographer is to get the best quality ultrasound examination on a patient of any age, in a very caring and timely manner.
- Current ARDMS certification in one or more category or education that meets the requirements for ARDMS Testing. If the Sonographer is not currently ARDMS Registered, he/she must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
(It will also be required to acquire an additional certification within 18 months following date of hire or transfer.)
- Appropriate training in all areas of ultrasonography being performed
- Current CPR certification
**All registrations and certifications must be kept current and documentation must be given to the radiology manager prior to the expiration of any of these documents.
Wage commensurate with experience.
