Summer Nights - Back to School

The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the final Summers Nights of the year on Friday, August 15.  Join in the fun on Des Moines Street between 1st and 2nd street from 5 to 9 pm.  The location has moved around the corner and will also still be utilizing the First American Bank Plaza for live music by Bill Robb especially for kids!  Bring your young ones down and let them enjoy playing along with the singer.
Chief John from the Webster City Fire Department will be down with a large truck and lots of fun things for kids to participate in.  Look for a big Hummer and you’ll find the U.S. Army with a great sound system and Xbox in the back of it.  The Army will also be making dog tags and have some giveaways.  Theresa Echelberger from Future of Health Massage will have $1 a minute massages for those stressed out parents.  TiDe Creations has neat leather items for sale and Young Living Oils will help with suggestions for relaxing, de-stressing and winding down after a full day of school.  Stacey from Scentsy will join in the fun with lots of good smells as well.  FabUlous Glam for Divas is ready to outfit your girls for school!  Girl Scouts are selling cookies too.

Legacy Learning BVC will be around to answer questions about cool classes adults can take and the Wilson Brewer Park ladies are bringing historical fun down to Des Moines Street.
Back to School time is also time to think about winterizing your home.  Neighbors Heating and Plumbing will be there to give you tips and tricks on how to prepare for winter and how to save some money.  They are also bringing a race car and having a bags tournament for kids!
It wouldn’t be Summer Nights without an array of food to choose from.  The Chamber will be selling pork patties stuffed with cheddar cheese and Cookies Infused Barbeque Sauce, chips and a drink.  All Cultures Equal will be serving food and Whoop-ti-do’s is featuring their ice cream for sale.  Mornin’ Glory has smoothies to partake in.  Cloud 9 is bringing back their fabulous cotton candy and Rockin' Poppin' Kettle corn will return too. Greg Pride and Nub’s BBQ is bringing out the grill and selling some good barbeque.

The Produce Station Pottery will be open during the Summer Fun Night.  We are located at 723 Seneca St (acrossed from the post office).
During the Summer Fun Night The Produce Station will be having a "Pottery in the Garden" night.  They will have the garden area open along with some food and drink.  They encourage people to come and enjoy the garden and look at the pottery.   Along with the Pottery in the Garden Event they are having a sale in the store.  Everything in the store will be 10% off and all cups will be 2 for $40.
