WEBSTER CITY AREA CHAMBER
2015 Events Calendar
by staff on November 5th, 2014

2015 Schedule of Events

Annual Dinner
 January 21
The Annual Dinner is one of the largest Chamber member attended events of the year.  We celebrate the successes of the past year, recognize member anniversaries, honor board members, and set the standard for 2015.

Quarterly Coffee
 March 5
Four times a year, we spend an hour sharing what members have done and are doing in the community, in 60 second sound bites.  Starting at 7:45 am with the goal to be done by 8:45 am – it’s become the place to be for Chamber members.  Hosted by different businesses around town, it’s a great time to showcase your business!

Sip ‘n Stroll
April 17
A new event this year – featuring wine, food and local businesses.  3 to 9 pm with many retail locations to sample wines (and beers) and see the wonderful wares available in Webster City.

JunqueFest
May 22-24
The 2nd Annual JunqueFest will be held at Wilson Brewer Park with many vendors selling their vintage, antique and unique junque! No charge to come stroll the aisles, have a bite to eat and enjoy the day.  Live music, fun for the kids and great junque.

Quarterly Coffee
June 4

Summer Nights
June 19
We close 2nd street between Des Moines and Willson, bring in kids activities, food and other item vendors, entertainment and just have a wonderful, family filled fun evening.

Crazy Days and Car Show
July 17- 18
Plan a little late shopping with great sales on Friday and enjoy the vintage car show on Saturday!

Golf Outing
 August 14
Chamber members will come golf at the Linx Golf Club in foursomes, play some fun games while golfing and eat a fabulous meal with entertainment afterwards.

Quarterly Coffee
September 4

Big Game
 sometime in September
Plans are still being made – but know that we will close the streets downtown and have a great time!

Ladies Night Out
October 15
It’s all about the ladies – shopping, dining and playing!  Opportunities to win prizes, see the models, and enjoy the sales.  Bring your sister, mother, grandma or daughter – there’s plenty for all.

Small Business Saturday
November 28
Support your local businesses on this day.  Several studies have shown that when you buy from an independent, locally owned business, rather than nationally owned businesses, significantly more of your money is used to make purchases from other local businesses, service providers and farms -- continuing to strengthen the economic base of the community.

Quarterly Coffee
December 4

Lighted Drive
November 28 to December 31
Enjoy the lights out at Briggs Woods Campgrounds provided by local businesses.
